Your California CCPA Rights

Right to Know (Access)

If you are a California resident, under the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) you have the right to request certain information related to Gorilla Guru's use of your personal information over the last 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will disclose to you: 

  • The categories of personal information collected
  • Specific pieces of personal information collected
  • The categories of sources from which the business collected personal information
  • The purposes for which the business uses the personal information
  • The categories of third parties with whom the business shares the personal information
  • The categories of information that the business sells or discloses to third parties
  • The specific pieces of personal information we collect about you (this is called a data portability request).

Data Portability

If we disclosed or sold your personal information for a business purpose, we will disclose two separate lists including the following information:

  • Sales, identifying the categories of personal information that each category of recipient purchased; and
  • Disclosures for a business purpose, identifying the categories of personal information that reach category of recipient obtained.

Delete

You may request that Gorilla Guru delete personal information we collected from you, and that we tell our service providers to do the same. We will comply with this request to the extent required by law.

Non-Discrimination

We, Gorilla Guru, will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA. Specifically, we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, provide a different level or quality of goods or services, or suggest that you may receive a different price or quality of goods or services solely because you exercised your CCPA rights.

Exercising Your Rights to Access or Delete 

To exercise your rights under the CCPA as described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to use by filling out the below form or emailing us at sasha-league@gorilla-guru.com. Please note that it may take up to 45 days for us to process your request. We may also require an extension of an additional 45 days.

Only you or a person registered with the California Secretary of State authorized by you to acted on your behalf may make a verifiable consumer request to exercise your CCPA rights. You may make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access (or a data portability request) twice in a 12-month period.

  • Whether you are requesting:
    • Access to your personal information that has been collected or shared; or 
    • To delete your personal information that has been collected; and
  • Your physical address.
